The 280 Dauntless is a 28-foot center console built on Boston Whaler's unsinkable fiberglass hull. Powered by three gasoline engines producing 600 horsepower combined, it delivers capable offshore performance while maintaining the versatility to work inshore waters. The design blends serious fishing capability with comfortable day-boating features, making it equally at home casting for shallow-water species or running beyond the breakers.

The helm features an innovative captain's chair that converts to a leaning post or stern-facing bench for trolling angles. A spacious forward lounge conceals a large storage garage for dive gear and tackle, while dedicated rod storage, a standard transom livewell, and a pump-out forward fishbox support serious fishing operations. The wide layout maximizes deck space for multiple anglers. Integrated Simrad navigation and digital switching technology for lighting and electronics round out the control systems.

Optional equipment available includes a 36V MotorGuide trolling motor, Power Pole anchoring assistance, and a Seakeeper gyro-stabilizing system for station-holding comfort.
