The 280 Outrage is a 28-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin 500-horsepower Mercury outboards. Boston Whaler designed this model to serve multiple purposes equally well—fishing, watersports, or casual cruising—with equal comfort and capability. The layout combines open-water functionality with thoughtful amenities throughout.
The helm features an adjustable captain's chair with a stationary companion seat. Forward, a spacious bow lounge with armrests and social seating faces the water. A comfortable aft bench folds away to open up the fishing deck when needed. The leaning post includes a bait-prep area, a 30-gallon livewell, and three large fishboxes. A tempered-glass windshield comes standard.
Optional equipment includes a hardtop fitted with five rod holders, speakers, and storage space, as well as an integrated heavy-duty hardtop system with floodlights and life-jacket storage. Mercury instrumentation comes standard, with available Raymarine navigation packages available for offshore operation. The boat includes one head.
