The 2026 Caymas 28 HB is a composite sportfish built around a patented Michael Peters stepped-vee ventilated tunnel hull designed for speed, fuel efficiency, and a dry ride. Powered by a single Mercury 425 hp V10 outboard, the boat measures 27.58 feet in length with a 9.33-foot beam. Construction is 100% composite with a tri-core composite transom, hand-laid fiberglass hull, and high-performance resin with barrier coat protection.
The boat prioritizes fishing functionality with a huge nonskid casting deck, dual lockable rod storage lockers, eight vertical console rod holders, four gunwale-mounted stainless rod holders, and under-gunwale rod storage. A 35-gallon aerated transom livewell with 800 gph pump, large fish box with macerator pump, and 120-gallon fuel tank support extended fishing days. Deck hardware includes seven 8-inch through-bolted stainless cleats and custom swim platforms, one with boarding ladder.
Comfort and safety features include cushioned bow and stern seating, a custom aft bench seat with folding backrest, high freeboard and deep gunnels, and an Edson stainless steering wheel with power knob and tilt steering. The helm console has recessed footrest storage and houses eight vertical rod holders. The boat carries a full suite of systems: dual bilge pumps (one automatic, one manual), mid-ship 500 gph automatic pump, 4 gpm raw water washdown, central manifold drain with shut-off valves, and circuit breaker protected wiring throughout.
The new boat comes with a lifetime limited hull warranty to the original owner and three-year limited component warranty covering carpet, steering, aeration pumps, electrical system, fuel tanks, gauges, and deck hardware.
