2026 Caymas 28 HB
About This Yacht
The 2026 Caymas 28 HB is a composite sportfish built around a patented Michael Peters stepped-vee ventilated tunnel hull that emphasizes speed, fuel efficiency, and a dry ride. Powered by a single Mercury 400 hp V10 engine, the boat carries a 120-gallon fuel tank and delivers the range serious anglers need. Construction is 100% composite with hand-laid fiberglass, a tri-core composite transom, and high-performance resin and barrier coat throughout.
The deck is engineered for fishing, with a large nonskid casting surface, eight vertical console rod holders, four gunwale-mounted rod holders, under-gunwale rod storage, and two lockable rod lockers. A 35-gallon starboard transom livewell with 800 gph pump and high-speed pickup serves live bait, while a large fish box with macerator pump handles the catch. Storage compartments are built throughout for tackle and gear.
Accommodations balance fishing focus with family comfort. Cushioned seating at bow and stern, a wide 9'4" beam, high freeboard, and deep gunnels create space and safety. The console is fully finished fiberglass with recessed footrest and storage box, a Porta Potti, and backlit display. Stainless steel hardware includes an Edson comfort grip steering wheel with power knob and tilt, paired with SeaStar hydraulic steering for responsive control.
Boat systems include two 1500 gph bilge pumps—one automatic, one manual—plus a mid-ship 500 gph automatic pump and a 4 gpm raw water washdown. A central manifold drain system with shut-off valves, six-gauge trolling motor wiring harness, and circuit breaker protected tinned wiring complete the electrical and drainage setup. The hull carries a limited lifetime warranty with three-year component coverage.
