The Caymas 28 HB is a composite sportfisher built around a Michael Peters stepped-vee ventilated tunnel hull, powered by a single Mercury Marine 425 hp engine. The design balances serious fishing capability with family comfort, featuring a broad 9'4" beam, high freeboard, and deep gunnels for safety and room. The stepped hull delivers speed and fuel efficiency while maintaining a dry, controlled ride.
The boat centers on an expansive nonskid casting deck with substantial built-in storage for tackle and gear. A 35-gallon aerated livewell and separate baitwell support serious fishing, backed by a 120-gallon fuel tank for extended range. The console includes backlit displays, and the helm features a black Edson steering wheel. Electronics mounting is available, with Garmin 8616 multifunction display integration. A fiberglass hardtop with custom powder-coated black frame provides weather protection and includes rod holders, an electronics box, dome lighting, and LED spreader lights.
Seating spans the boat: the leaning post incorporates cushioned seating and a cutting board, with a bow area offering additional cushioned seating and storage. Upholstery packages in white and grey are available, along with optional freshwater systems and Minn Kota battery chargers. A full suite of tackle and storage upgrades includes GEMLUX hardware, additional rod holders, and rodholder-cupholders at the bow.
The package includes a custom sport trail trailer with aluminum wheels, spare, poly bunks, and winch with load guides. The boat is new and in stock.
