The 2026 Cobalt R8 Outboard is a 27-foot fiberglass bowrider powered by twin Yamaha engines totaling 400 horsepower. Built around outboard propulsion, the design prioritizes quiet operation, fuel efficiency, and the handling and comfort Cobalt is known for, making it suitable for year-round use on lakes and salt water.

The boat features a well-appointed cockpit with dual Garmin 8610 XSV glass displays and joystick control for intuitive maneuvering. A white aluminum arch with forward-folding bimini and stainless steel ski pylon provide sun protection and towing capability. The helm includes trim tabs with indicators, a wireless phone charger, and a battery maintainer. Boarding is made convenient with a port-side ladder, and anchoring is handled by an all-chain windlass.

Below, a head with electric porcelain toilet and console sink serves the single head compartment. The interior features a dinette with teak accents and sea grass flooring.
