2026 Sea Ray SLX 280

The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 280 is a 28-foot fiberglass bowrider built for open-water performance and social entertaining. Powered by a single 430-horsepower MerCruiser gasoline engine with SmartCraft technology and Digital Throttle and Shift controls, the boat combines responsive handling with a broad swim platform and submersible boarding step for easy water access.

The layout prioritizes comfort and gathering space. The bow features a plush U-shaped seating area, while the cockpit centers on deep, ergonomic seating with integrated storage throughout. A transom sunpad incorporates a cooler, and additional storage includes a transom locker and floor compartment. The helm is outfitted with dual 9-inch Simrad NSX touchscreen displays, CZone digital switching, Active Trim monitoring, and helm-mounted controls for the audio system and other functions.

Optional enhancements include a Power Tower with electric raise-lower capability and canvas top, a manual bow sunshade, or a fixed Bimini top for weather protection. LED lighting illuminates the boat from bow to stern, with optional RGB-W color-changing lighting available. An inductive charging station is positioned near the helm, and bow upgrades can add a stainless steel anchor, windlass, rope, and chain. The boat includes one head.
