The Amaranta 85 is a 85-foot luxury catamaran built in fiberglass composite, currently under construction and scheduled for delivery in July 2026. She combines a wide 39-foot beam with an ingenious deployable stern platform system: with platforms closed, the yacht fits within 80-foot regulations; deployed, she extends to approximately 86 feet for enhanced waterline performance and onboard space. The hull employs advanced composite techniques designed for stiffness, light weight, and refined finish quality throughout.
Propulsion comes from a hybrid-electric drivetrain supplied by QEV Technologies, featuring two 125 kW electric pod drives paired with two 81 kVA range-extending generators. This configuration delivers silent, zero-emission cruising when desired while maintaining autonomy and reliability for extended passages. Maximum speed reaches 8 knots, with a 6-knot cruising speed.
The catamaran accommodates dual mission profiles. In cruising configuration, she sleeps 8 guests across 6 cabins with 11 heads. For charter or event operations, the layout scales to accommodate up to 88 guests plus 12 crew. The design emphasizes luxury finishes, spacious accommodations, and versatile use across both private and charter markets.
