The Fountaine Pajot FP44 is a 43.5-foot catamaran built in composite, representing the second model in the builder's new generation launched in late 2024. The design emphasizes open living with a widened coach roof, large windows, and generous exterior spaces across the cockpit, flybridge, and foredeck. Dual helm stations remain a defining feature, and the interior transitions seamlessly between outdoor and indoor areas through a full-opening glazed bay, central island galley, and forward pass-through panel.
Below deck, the FP44 offers flexible cabin configurations with three or four sleeping cabins. Diagonal berths at the stern ease access, while forward cabins feature increased headroom. The Maestro version provides enhanced comfort and customization options, including the ability to configure the forward space as a nursery, office, or additional berth.
The widened hull delivers more volume and storage throughout. Two Yanmar diesel engines of 60 horsepower each provide reliable propulsion. The boat also offers a hybrid electric version (ODSea+) developed in-house by Fountaine Pajot, designed to maximize renewable energy and cruising autonomy while maintaining independent control over all research and development processes.
