The Fountaine Pajot FP55 is a 55-foot sailing catamaran and the first flybridge model in the builder's range. At nearly 17 meters in length with a 28.75-foot beam, the hull offers the dual-hull stability and spacious deck layout characteristic of the catamaran design. The boat is built in fiberglass and comes equipped with 6,300 watts of integrated solar power as standard, supporting air conditioning and silent cruising without generator operation.
The FP55 offers multiple interior configurations to suit different cruising needs. All layouts feature two fully independent crew cabins, each with a private bathroom. The owner may choose between the Maestro version with one owner's suite and four guest cabins, the double Maestro with two owner's suites and two guest cabins, or a six double-cabin layout where all cabins are the same size. This flexibility allows the boat to serve as a comfortable owner's retreat, an extended cruising platform for entertaining, or a charter-ready yacht.
Deck space is divided across multiple relaxing areas: a forward cockpit with direct access from the salon, a stern cockpit with a plancha for gathering, and an expansive flybridge that commands views of the surroundings while providing clear sightlines for sail handling. The design emphasizes both privacy and social spaces, allowing guests and crew to move freely throughout the boat while maintaining separate zones for rest and entertainment.
