The 2026 Hewes Redfisher 18 is a mid-sized flats boat built with vacuum infusion (VARIS) construction for a lighter, faster, and stronger hull. Powered by a single 115-horsepower Yamaha engine, it delivers the speed and range expected of this iconic design while remaining shallow enough to pole into backcountry waters. The hull is fiberglass with a solid color pattern and white caulking.
The boat features a dedicated anchor locker, a console designed to accommodate flush-mounted electronics up to 12 inches, and a functional cushion setup finished in white. The helm includes a GEM stainless steel steering wheel with standard hydraulic Sea Star controls and trim tabs. An optional backrest and integrated step into the poling tower are available for added comfort and safety during long runs.
Fishing-focused equipment includes a 23.5-gallon livewell in the aft center with a self-bailing cockpit, rod tubes and undergunnel storage for tip protection, and a two-bank rod rack at the console. The boat is outfitted with large dry storage compartments, blue LED cockpit lights, LED navigation lights, a compass, flush-mount cleats at bow and stern, and a complete wiring system with battery tray and 4-position battery switch. A 12-volt accessory jack is standard.
The boat includes a custom Amera trail trailer with mag wheels and matching spare tire.
