The Jasper Marine Defender 22 is a 27-foot aluminum runabout built around a deep-V hull designed for stability and a dry ride across varied water conditions. Powered by twin Mercury engines totaling 450 horsepower, it cruises at 30 knots and planes quickly while remaining light enough to tow and launch easily. The shallow draft and beachable hull allow access to shallow waters, sandbars, and coves beyond the reach of deeper-drafted boats.
The open bow layout prioritizes usable space with forward and aft seating, positioning the boat equally for fishing, diving, watersports, or family cruising. An enclosed cuddy cabin option with berth is available. A self-bailing cockpit handles water management. One head is included.
The aluminum construction and commercial-grade build reflect durability across demanding use. Joystick control and other optional equipment remain adjustable during production.
