The Jasper Marine Defender 22 is a 27-foot aluminum runabout built with a deep-V hull designed for stability and a dry ride across varied water conditions. Powered by a single 300 hp Mercury engine, it cruises at 30 knots and planes up quickly while remaining light enough to tow and launch easily. The shallow draft and beachable hull allow access to shallow water, sandbars, and protected coves beyond the reach of deeper-keeled boats.
The open bow layout provides forward seating with flexible accommodation options, including an optional enclosed cuddy cabin with a berth. The self-bailing cockpit and aft seating support fishing, diving, watersports, and day cruising. The 8.5-foot beam gives workable beam for its length, balancing stability with trailering practicality.
Built with commercial-grade construction throughout, the Defender 22 handles chop with confidence while maintaining the handling characteristics expected of a modern adventure boat. This model is currently in production, allowing for selection of optional equipment and features prior to build.
