The Jeanneau 55 is a modern sailing yacht built around a distinctive scow bow hull and walk-around side decks, setting it apart within its class. The layout centers on a generous aft cockpit with dual helm stations forward and an expansive exterior salon amidships, featuring an upper settee to starboard, a navigation station with optional joystick and throttle controls to port, and convertible tables that transform into lounges. An optional hardtop with large side and forward windows provides weather protection across the exterior spaces.

Below deck, the yacht offers three cabins and three heads. The owner's suite features a queen berth offset to port, a settee, desk space, and a full hanging locker, with a separate forward head and shower. Two guest cabins are accessed from the exterior salon: the port VIP cabin includes an en-suite head, shower, and mini refrigerator, while the starboard guest cabin has its own en-suite head and shower.

The galley is situated to starboard forward of the cabin spaces, with a large L-shaped layout descending from the exterior salon.
