The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 455 is a new performance cruising sailboat built around balance, safety, and ease of handling. The design suits both relaxed coastal sailing and longer offshore passages without compromise.

On deck, the layout prioritizes short-handed operation. Twin wheels provide excellent sightlines and control, while flush side decks and a clean cockpit layout enable safe, intuitive movement. The signature Walkaround concept creates barrier-free passageways around both helm stations. High coamings fully enclose the seat thwarts, and sheet winches sit on platforms directly forward of the helm stations for efficient, ergonomic crew work. Halyards and trim lines run over the coachroof to two stopper batteries with winches positioned beside the companionway. The standard rig is a twin-reef aluminum mast paired with a classic mainsail and overlapping genoa; a furling mast or self-tacking jib are available alternatives.
