The Lagoon 51 Iconic is a 51-foot catamaran built from fiberglass with twin 160-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines. A recognized design, the 51 has won multiple industry awards including Multihull Yacht of the Year and Environmental Pioneer recognition. The hull features distinctive aft transoms that provide safe, easy movement around deck, with a swim platform that doubles as a water-level balcony when anchored or underway.
The boat's layout prioritizes comfort and usable space across both hulls. A spacious owner's suite serves as a private retreat with an optimized cabin design and large walk-in closet. The flybridge offers a modular, ergonomic layout for relaxation while underway. The aft platform and transom design create an open, social area for swimming and entertaining.
Sustainability appears throughout the design. Woodwork comes from FSC-certified forests, while upholstery is made entirely from recycled materials. A full-length solar panel array is integrated into the coachroof to power onboard systems. The catamaran also features a new visible furling boom mechanism that allows clear observation and precise control of reefing and sail handling operations, a design detail shared with the smaller Lagoon 46 model.
