The Lightning Kayaks Strike HD is a 12.5-foot kayak built from super linear HDPE with a tri-hull design engineered for stability. The hull incorporates a recessed channel that allows the propulsion system to retract fully, enabling shallow-water launching and landing with minimal draft.

The Strike HD features an adjustable aluminum-frame seat with breathable padded mesh fabric and three positions to fit paddlers of different sizes. A custom Marine Mat flooring system provides cushioning underfoot, while a large rear tank well and two hatches offer substantial storage capacity for day trips or overnight outings.

Propulsion comes from the Freedom Drive system, which operates through foot-powered fin movement that mimics penguin-wing action. The drive unit locks securely into place and retracts when not in use, keeping it clear of obstacles and shallow obstacles in tight waters.
