The Marex 390 is a 39-foot fiberglass cruiser built around Scandinavian design principles that prioritize both outdoor entertaining and interior comfort. Powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines, the yacht combines practical seamanship with thoughtful layout. The design reflects direct input from existing Marex owners, balancing open deck areas with sheltered, well-appointed living spaces.
The two-cabin, one-head interior features engineered walnut wood joinery throughout, with light sand and monument fabrics in the cabin areas. The saloon includes a drop-down table with cushion infill and a rotating television. Accommodations include two bar chairs at a table column and two bedding sets. Climate control consists of three cabin AC units backed by a diesel generator and a 3500-watt inverter-charger system.
Deck and systems equipment includes a 50-meter anchor chain with electric winch and remote, twin 95-amp-hour battery packs, 700-watt solar panels with app monitoring, and comprehensive lighting throughout. Navigation and communication gear consists of twin 16-inch glass cockpit multifunction displays, Garmin Fantom 24x50 radar, VHF 315 and AIS 800 transceiver, and an autopilot integrated with the Volvo Penta engines. Trim tab software provides dynamic stability control with integrated underwater lighting.
Additional amenities include a 95-liter freezer drawer, high-pressure fresh water and seawater deck wash pump with automatic furling, shore power automatic furler, teak decking option, external window sun covers, and mosquito nets throughout. Cockpit cushioning uses Alcantara microfiber, and all cabin areas feature LED dimmable lighting integrated into the wooden rail detailing.
