The Nautitech 48 Open is a 48-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines of 120 horsepower each. The design combines a modern profile with inverted bows and a forward deck, featuring distinguished hull lines and a contemporary superstructure. The beam of 26 feet provides substantial stability and interior volume typical of the catamaran platform.
The helm setup includes a distinctive double aft station, positioning the wheel for clear sightlines of the sails while maintaining connection to the cockpit and crew. The deck layout and control arrangement support both sailing and marina maneuvering.
The interior is organized around an open-plan concept that dissolves the boundary between cabin and cockpit spaces. A central bar positioned at the boat's center of gravity anchors the main saloon, with optimized circulation throughout. The layout includes a spacious galley with full appliances, a large chart table, and expansive lounge seating. Interior finishes are available in light walnut or optional oak, and the design by Christophe Chedal-Anglay creates distinct functional zones that adapt to different uses and routines on board.
