The Nautitech 48 Open is a 48-foot fiberglass catamaran with a 26-foot beam, powered by twin 120-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines. The hull features inverted bows and a modern forward deck design, with a distinctive double aft helm station that provides commanding sightlines over the sails while keeping the helmsman connected to the cockpit and crew.
The interior opens seamlessly to the outside, dissolving the boundary between cabin and deck space. A central bar positioned at the boat's center of gravity anchors the saloon, creating a multipurpose social hub. The layout includes a spacious galley with appliances readily accessible, a large lounge area, and a substantial chart table. Interior finishes are available in light walnut as standard, with optional oak finishing.
The design, by Christophe Chedal-Anglay, emphasizes flowing circulation and well-defined functional zones that adapt to different times of day and ways of living. Each area on board serves its own purpose while contributing to an overall modern, elegant atmosphere.
