The 2026 Nautitech 48 Open is a fiberglass catamaran defined by its modern, dynamic architecture. Designed by Christophe Chedal-Anglay, the hull features inverted bows and a forward deck that project contemporary style, while the distinguishing superstructure and hull lines reflect Nautitech's signature aesthetic. Twin Volvo Penta diesel engines, each 120 horsepower, provide power and range.

The 48 Open centres on a distinctive dual helm station positioned aft, offering commanding views of the sails and clear sightlines to the crew for confident handling both under sail and when maneuvering. At nearly 48 feet long with a beam of 26 feet, the catamaran's beam supports a notably open interior layout where the saloon flows freely into outdoor spaces, blurring the boundary between inside and out. A central bar anchors the main living area at the boat's centre of gravity and serves as a natural gathering point for the crew.

Interior spaces are thoughtfully divided with clear function: a spacious galley equipped with full appliances, a large chart table, and generous lounge seating are arranged for both focused sailing and relaxed cruising. Standard finishes employ light walnut, with optional oak available. The design philosophy emphasizes adaptable living—each area designed to evolve with the owner's needs and rhythms on the water, whether daysailing or extended cruising.
