The Nimbus Commuter 8 is a 26-foot fiberglass cruiser built for active use in all seasons. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Mercury diesel engine, it cruises at 34 knots and is designed for commuters, day trips, and shorter overnight journeys. The hull prioritizes accessibility and movement throughout, with wide walkways, generous storage, large sliding doors, and open passages that make daily operation straightforward regardless of weather.
The boat flows from a flexible foredeck with convertible seating—transformable between lounge, relaxation, and driving modes—through a bright, spacious cockpit. Oversized glass doors, a sliding roof hatch, and an opening aft deck hatch flood the interior with natural light and allow the boat to shift from closed to open configuration in seconds. The aft deck accommodates four to five people across bench seating and a foldable sofa that adapts for socializing, storage, or water activities like fishing and swimming.
Accommodation includes two cabins. The forward cabin holds a double bed with an ensuite head and kitchenette. The main saloon features swiveling helm seats and a passenger sofa that converts to a bed for two children or one adult; the dining table extends from a central position. The cockpit design emphasizes comfort for both driver and passengers during operation.
Integrated loading arches top the cabin, sized to carry larger gear such as SUPs, kayaks, or surfboards. The boat is configured as a new 2026 model.
