The 2026 Nitro Z21 XL Pro is a 16.5-foot aluminum bass boat powered by a single Mercury 250 ProXS FourStroke engine. Built around a 16-degree variable deadrise hull with a composite deck core, the boat features Nitro's Rapid Planing System for quick acceleration and performance. The aluminum construction uses chemically bonded and mechanically fastened deck and hull with stainless steel fasteners spaced every two inches, paired with a gelcoated stringer and liner system.
The console features a modular, aerodynamic design with a removable tinted windscreen and a 7-inch Z-TOUCH digital touchscreen that controls trim, lighting, bilge, livewells, and other functions through programmable modes. Two 12-inch Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra fishfinders are installed—one bow-mounted with LiveScope Plus and one at the console—alongside a Garmin Force Pro 36V trolling motor with 80-pound thrust and a 50-inch shaft.
The boat includes 45 square feet of padded bow deck for casting, with a bike seat and folding fishing seat, both with hydraulic pedestals. Two rear livewells hold 19 gallons each with digital timers, supported by a 500 GPH aerator and fill pump, plus a 750 GPH recirculation and pump-out system. A 12-inch adjustable jack plate is standard, along with a 1,600 GPH bilge pump and wireless bow keypad. The boat rides on a custom-fit tandem-axle steel trailer with surge disc brakes on both axles and an 18-inch black wheel and tire upgrade with spare.
