The Privilege Signature 510 is a 51-foot catamaran built in fiberglass with a 26-foot beam, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 160 hp each with shaft drives. Designed for extended cruising and liveaboard life, the boat combines protective design with practical systems for short-handed sailing. The helm features a hard dodger and full enclosure that connects to the salon, creating a weatherproof living area, while a hardtop extends across the large cockpit and aft platform.
Sail management is built around remote control from the helm: single-line reefing, main halyard, main sheet, genoa sheets, and downhaul all lead to electric winches at the steering station. The genoa includes a standard electric furling system. The boat carries dual anchors and is designed to accommodate a second windlass, with large, deep anchor lockers. An electrical pendular system allows one person to launch and recover a tender onto the aft deck, keeping heavier dinghies secure during passages.
Below deck, the layout prioritizes storage and livability. The master suite includes a large island bed, dedicated wardrobe, and numerous overhead hatches for passive ventilation. The galley features a full-height pantry, large refrigerator and freezer, and extensive cabinet and counter space. A central chiller system provides air conditioning with minimal noise. Seven overhead hatches in the master suite and five in the salon optimize airflow while at anchor. Full engine rooms with accessible systems and equipment placement throughout the boat support straightforward maintenance and operation.
