2026 Ranger RT178

The 2026 Ranger RT178 is a 17-foot 8-inch aluminum runabout built for fishing and recreation in a compact, trailerable package. The boat combines the construction methods and durability of Ranger's larger models at a more accessible size. Power comes from a single 75 hp Mercury Marine engine.

The deck and cockpit layout prioritizes stability and working space across the boat's 7-foot 8-inch beam. An 8-foot rod locker along the port side, recessed trolling motor foot pedal, and three dedicated tackle storage compartments keep gear organized. A large center storage box and additional tackle storage under both decks provide room for equipment. The console is designed to accommodate electronics up to 12 inches and includes gauge placement and cantilevered design to maximize operator comfort.

The hull is constructed from .100-inch aluminum with integrated sound-deadening foam flotation throughout. Interior surfaces feature durable all-weather marine-grade carpet and premium vinyl upholstery. The boat's wood-free construction supports longevity and easy maintenance.
