The Ranger RT178 is a 17-foot 8-inch aluminum runabout built to the same standards as Ranger's larger models. Powered by a single 75-horsepower Mercury Marine engine, it combines practical fishing design with manageable size and weight.

The boat features an 8-foot port rod locker, recessed trolling motor foot pedal, and three dedicated tackle storage compartments plus an oversized center storage box. An ultra-wide deck and cockpit provide stability and space for multiple anglers. The console is fully appointed to accommodate electronics up to 12 inches, along with gauges and a cantilevered design that maximizes comfort and functional space.

Construction includes an aluminum hull with .100" thickness filled with sound-deadening foam flotation throughout. Rugged, all-weather marine-grade carpet and premium vinyl upholstery are standard.
