The Ranger RT178C is a 17-foot aluminum runabout built for serious fishing. Powered by a 75-horsepower Mercury Marine engine, it combines practical deck layout with substantial storage capacity designed for anglers who spend full days on the water.
The bow features three-across seating that accommodates multiple anglers for casting or spider-rigging, with an 8-foot, 6-inch rod box running along the forward section. A divided, timed, and aerated livewell sits in the deck underfoot, keeping bait and catch in prime condition. The wider bow design provides working room without stepping on rods. Additional tackle storage compartments sit both in the bow and along the rear deck, where a second livewell and ample open space allow for active fishing. Beneath the bench seating, further storage keeps gear organized and accessible. The fiberglass console is cantilevered to offer legroom for the helm operator.
The boat comes equipped with marine-grade upholstery and is sold with a custom-built Ranger Trail trailer fitted with premium wheels and Road Armor coating for corrosion protection.
