2026 Ranger RT178C

The Ranger RT178C is a 17-foot 8-inch aluminum runabout built for fishing, powered by a single 75-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. The hull delivers the performance and storage capacity expected from a dedicated fishing platform, with a design that prioritizes both comfort and functionality on the water.

The bow accommodates three across seating and features an 8-foot 6-inch rod locker positioned to keep tackle secure and out of the way. An in-deck tackle storage box sits forward, while the widened bow design provides ample standing room. Dual aerated livewells—one forward in the deck and another aft—keep bait and catch fresh throughout the day. Two additional tackle storage boxes are positioned on the rear deck.

Storage runs throughout the boat, with compartments beneath the bench seating and plenty of open fishing space aft. The fiberglass console is cantilevered to maximize legroom at the helm. Marine-grade upholstery covers the seating surfaces. The boat comes equipped with a custom-built Ranger Trail trailer designed to fit this hull, featuring premium wheels and Road Armor coating for durability.
