The 2026 Ranger RT188 is an 18-foot 10-inch aluminum runabout built for fishing and general recreation. Powered by a single 115-horsepower Mercury Marine engine, it delivers the performance and handling needed for both open water and shallow-water work. The all-welded aluminum hull is reinforced with flotation foam throughout, designed to reduce noise and vibration while providing structural rigidity.
The boat's layout prioritizes fishing function. The front deck is spacious, offering solid footing and stability without the crowding of a narrow bow design. A center rod and tackle locker runs eight and a half feet long, flanked by two large storage compartments. The recessed trolling motor foot pedal is positioned out of the way, and the helm features a handmade fiberglass console that accommodates electronics up to 12 inches, complete with precision steering and rocker switches.
The livewell is aerated and divided for live bait management. Additional features include a wide, stable platform running bow to stern and a custom-matched Ranger Trail trailer.
