2026 Ranger Tugs R-27

The 2026 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 31-foot fiberglass trawler built to cruise coastal waters with capability and comfort. Twin 150-horsepower Yamaha outboards deliver power while keeping the boat trailerable at 8.5 feet beam. The hull features a foam-filled fiberglass stringer grid system with vinylester barrier coat and is finished in light grey. A folding mast and electric trim tabs support trailering and operation, while a bow thruster aids low-speed maneuvering.

The interior balances living space with efficient design. The forward stateroom includes a private berth and television, while a midship berth and dinette that converts to sleeping space provide additional accommodation. A fully enclosed head with shower, galley with propane stove and oven, refrigerator, and microwave support extended stays. Air conditioning and reverse-cycle heating maintain comfort, with skylights and opening portlights providing natural light and ventilation.

The pilothouse puts navigation and control at your fingertips with a Garmin 8612xsv GPS chartplotter, xHD radar, and autopilot. Electronic engine displays show fuel flow, while single-lever shift and throttle control simplify operation. A 30-amp shore power inlet, lithium-ion battery system, 175-watt solar panel, and 150-gallon fuel capacity extend range and time away from the dock. Deck features include an anchor windlass, bow and helm controls, stainless steel hardware, EVA foam decking, and a swim platform with ladder.

The boat carries a full safety kit—fenders, lines, flares, fire extinguisher, first aid, and life jackets—along with VHF radio with DSC, navigation lights, carbon monoxide detectors, and integrated trailer lighting. Stainless steel cleats, rails, and hardware throughout resist corrosion, and a self-bailing cockpit drains automatically.
