The Razor Cat 52 is a 52-foot fiberglass sailing catamaran designed for performance and ease of handling. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 90 horsepower each power the boat, which features narrow hulls with dagger boards and a simple, powerful rig. The design prioritizes light weight and easy driving—essential to catamaran speed—while the high bridge deck clearance reduces pounding and improves comfort in seaways. A central inside helm station offers 360-degree visibility and single-handed control, with all sail lines except the genoa and spinnaker sheets running to electric reversible winches flanking the helm; cockpit winches handle the genoa and spinnaker sheets and can be controlled remotely from the helm.
The bridge deck serves as the main living space, with an expansive U-shaped galley featuring a bar, under-counter refrigerator and freezer drawers, a large sink with workstation, a 30-inch stove with oven, and substantial counter and storage space. A dinette sits across from the galley with direct access to the aft deck. The helm station anchors the forward end of the bridge deck, surrounded by excellent sightlines throughout the salon and to the aft deck.
Each hull hull houses dedicated accommodations. The aft cabin features a queen berth with foot access and generous stowage. Forward of that, a modified queen-sized midship berth folds up to reveal a work bench when not in use. A large forward head compartment includes a separate shower stall and hanging locker. The dinette converts to a spacious double berth for additional guests. All systems are designed for straightforward access and maintenance throughout the boat.
