The Sargo 31 is a fiberglass cruiser built around a single-level deck plan that prioritizes usable space and ease of movement. Twin side doors and an aft hatch open the cabin to the cockpit, while a large galley and two sleeping compartments support extended cruising. The 31-footer displaces five tons and draws its power from a Volvo Penta D6-440 diesel engine, delivering 40 knots at top speed and a comfortable cruising speed of 32 knots. Trim tabs are fitted for enhanced ride control.

The two cabins each contain twin beds, with one head serving the accommodations. The helm features an adjustable steering wheel and instrument panel that allow the operator to optimize position for seated or standing operation. Side doors facilitate quick maneuvering in tight harbors.
