The 2026 Scout 231 XSB is a 23-foot composite bay boat built for both inshore fishing and offshore cruising. It's powered by a single Mercury 300XL Verado V8 engine with power steering, delivering capable performance across variable water conditions. The hull comes in Alpine Gray with a full color upgrade, and the boat features a powder-coated hybrid hardtop with an integrated windshield that provides weather protection and integrates a T-top frame finished in black as part of the Midnight Edition package.

The layout prioritizes accessibility and functionality. Forward seating includes backrests with cushions and multiple receivers, while a standard hybrid leaning post with integrated Igloo cooler sits aft.
