2026 Scout 261 XSS

The 2026 Scout 261 XSS is a 26-foot bay boat built on a double-stepped hull with a 17-inch draft, designed to navigate both shallow flats and open water. Its full-composite, hand-laid fiberglass construction with epoxy-infused carbon fiber elements combines strength with light weight. The boat carries a 90-gallon fuel capacity and 10-gallon freshwater tank, with a dry weight of 4,429 pounds. It accommodates up to 400 horsepower, supported by a power steering system, Zipwake trim, and a 10-inch jackplate.

The layout centers on serious fishing capability. Dual 12.5-gallon aerated baitwells sit port and starboard under the seats, with a forward console coffin box and ample rod storage throughout. The leaning post features a bait prep station with sink, tackle drawers, and trash can, paired with a 45-quart cooler. The rear deck offers flip-up backrests and cushioned seating. Navigation and fish-finding are handled by a Garmin 943XS electronics suite with GT12M transducer and integrated display. A self-contained porcelain head is included.

The boat comes equipped with an integrated carbon fiber T-top featuring a full windshield, spreader lights, and helm switch panel.
