2026 Scout 281 X Signature Edition

The 2026 Scout 281 X Signature Edition is a 28-foot bay boat built on composite construction with carbon epoxy throughout. This exclusive model is limited to three units per year and features a white hull with red accent stripe, a single Mercury 400R engine, and carbon fiber hardtop legs and lids. The helm includes a carbon fiber Edson steering wheel and a unique dual-station setup: the primary helm seats forward, with a second full control station positioned aft to allow the captain an unobstructed view while standing behind the two seats.

Standard appointments on the Signature Edition include custom diamond-pattern stitched upholstery with black and red accents, two 10-foot black Power-Poles, a bow rod and cup holder setup, and a fish box conversion to a release livewell on the starboard side. The transom carries a custom paint treatment featuring the signature of Scout's founder and CEO, Steve Potts.

Optional equipment includes a Garmin Kraken 63-inch trolling motor paired with one 36-volt lithium-ion battery, battery charger, and trolling motor plug.
