The 2026 Scout 288 LXF is a 28-foot 9-inch center console built on Scout's hand-laid fiberglass construction with carbon fiber and epoxy infusion for strength and weight efficiency. Twin Mercury 300XL Verado V8 engines with joystick control, electric steering, autopilot, and active trim deliver up to 600 horsepower. The boat features a carbon fiber hardtop with spreader lights, integrated windscreens, and rocket launchers for rod storage. Power steering and Zipwake trim tabs come standard, along with a 188-gallon fuel capacity and 21-degree deadrise hull.

The helm station includes dual Garmin 1243XSV touchscreen displays, VHF radio, and Garmin transducer. The fiberglass leaning post incorporates a bait prep station, tackle drawers, a 45-quart YETI cooler, and dual helm seats with folding bolsters and armrests. Forward seating features backrests and storage beneath, while a port-side swing-in dive door provides easy water access. The aft area holds integrated stern seating and a forward lounge.

The enclosed head compartment includes a porcelain toilet, vanity with sink, and skylight. Port and starboard in-floor fish boxes feature diaphragm pumps for drainage. Fresh and raw water washdowns, LED lighting throughout, and wireless phone chargers are standard. A 45-gallon aerated baitwell sits aft, ideal for serious anglers.
