The Seawind 1270 is a 42-foot cruising catamaran built on a composite hull and powered by twin 58-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines. This design evolution builds on the proven 1260 platform with a longer waterline, wider 22.83-foot beam, refined hull shapes, and higher foredeck to improve offshore motion, sailing efficiency, and interior volume. The result is a modern cruising platform engineered for extended passagemaking with reinforced structural design, dual protected helm stations, and a stable, predictable ride in offshore conditions.

The galley-up layout creates a bright, open saloon with excellent visibility and natural ventilation. The boat accommodates three cabins with well-proportioned sleeping quarters, generous storage throughout, and thoughtful cabin circulation that makes the interior feel spacious for its size. The galley-forward positioning supports an ergonomic layout well-suited to extended cruising.

Safety and deck practicality are central to the design.
