The Simbad 55 is a 57-foot composite catamaran built with refined design and efficient systems for extended cruising. Powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines with joystick maneuvering, the boat features a painted aluminum mast, furling boom, and polyester sails. Onboard power comes from a generator, solar panels, and gel batteries, while soundproofing in the engine and genset rooms and a built-in fire-fighting system support safe operation.
The saloon centers on warm walnut or oak cabinetry with bronze accents and tinted windows. It includes a dining transformer table, 50-inch television, Fusion audio system, wine cellar, and twin 16-inch chartplotters. Four cabins provide sleeping accommodation: a master suite with king bed, desk, and Dekton-finished bathroom with Gessi fixtures; two guest cabins with queen beds and private ensuites; and a crew cabin with twin beds and its own bathroom. The galley is fitted with Miele appliances and Vitrifrigo refrigeration.
The aft cockpit is finished in Burmese teak and includes a built-in BBQ plancha, fridge, and audio system. The flybridge offers softtop shade, twin helm stations with 16-inch chartplotters, sunbeds, and audio. A forward cockpit with cushions and cocktail table sits at the bow. A tender lift with included tender and foldable swimming ladder provide water access.
