The 2026 Sportsman Open 232 is a 23-foot center console designed as a dual-purpose fishing and family boat. Powered by a single Yamaha 300-horsepower gasoline engine, the boat combines classic fishing boat functionality with modern ride characteristics in an easily trailable package. The hull features advanced fiberglass construction with a composite stringer system and comes with a 10-year warranty.

The layout prioritizes both angler and family comfort. A 25-gallon insulated aquarium livewell, high-speed pickup, and freshwater washdown support serious fishing, while rod storage includes four flush-mount gunwale holders, King Fish rod holders, and under-gunwale racks. The cockpit offers a premium dual chair helm seat with flip-up bolsters and armrests, a bow cushion set with bolsters, and a removable bow backrest, along with a 20-quart built-in console cooler seat. Additional seating includes a rear fold-down seat. Storage is distributed throughout: anchor storage forward and aft with a stern anchor box, insulated bow storage, lockable console storage, and dedicated space for trolling motor batteries.
