The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18.4-foot aluminum fishing pontoon with a 50 hp Mercury Marine engine. Built to carry seven passengers, it combines a fresh design with practical fishing-focused features throughout.

The layout centers on a fully outfitted driver console with integrated rod holder and new phone compartments. Two folding fishing seats offer casting positions beneath a standard 7-foot bimini top for sun protection. A forward-facing seat adjacent to the driver console rounds out seating, while the redesigned lounges incorporate cutout backrests that free up three additional cubic feet of storage space. Four cupholders are distributed across the pontoon to keep drinks within reach.

The 8-foot beam provides a stable platform for fishing. New styling updates the interior and exterior appearance while retaining the functional pontoon design that defined the original Bass Buggy lineup.
