The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18-foot aluminum fishing pontoon built to carry seven passengers. It combines a fresh design with functional fishing features, including a standard 7-foot bimini top for shade over the casting area. The boat is powered by a single Mercury Marine 20 hp engine.

The layout includes two folding fishing seats positioned for casting, with a driver console fitted with a rod holder. Storage has been expanded with clever backrest cutouts that add three extra cubic feet of capacity. Additional conveniences include phone compartments, four cupholders, and a forward-facing seat in front of the driver console, along with a full lounge area for passengers.

This model carries forward the original Bass Buggy concept—the first fishing pontoon design—with a complete visual and feature update for the 2026 model year.
