The Valhalla V-55 is a 55-foot center console powered by four Mercury 7.6-liter V12 Verado outboards delivering 2,400 total horsepower. Built on a patented Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel hull designed by Michael Peters Yacht Design, the boat combines a double-stepped, deep-V running surface engineered for excellent ride quality, efficiency, and maneuverability. The hull is constructed using fiberglass and carbon fiber/E-glass hybrid fabrics in a resin-infused process, optimizing both strength and weight. The structural stringer grid, deck, liners, and hardtop are also resin-infused, with the stringer grid engineered to accommodate a Seakeeper 9 gyro stabilizer accessible through a watertight cockpit sole hatch.
The V-55 carries 1,200 gallons of fuel in a system designed with electrically operated fuel management, allowing each engine to draw from designated tanks for increased reliability. An electrically operated fuel management system allows each engine to draw from designated fuel tanks. The boat's construction reflects meticulous attention to detail, with all hatches featuring deep drain channels and gaskets fitted into molded channels. Doors and lids are finished on both sides using Light Resin Transfer Molding with gelcoat, and hardware throughout is Gemlux. The open cockpit layout suits the boat for a range of applications, from offshore tournament fishing to high-performance cruising or as a tender to larger yachts.
