2026 Wellcraft 28 T-Top

The 2026 Wellcraft 28 T-Top is a center console built around advanced hull engineering: a stepped bottom developed with Finnish naval architects Navia and W.I.S.E. infused single-piece construction that combines stiffness with a dry ride. Twin Mercury 200 HP V6 FourStroke outboards power the boat, paired with a Seakeeper Ride attitude control system that automatically manages pitch and roll. An upgraded 140-gallon fuel tank supports extended offshore range.

This hull comes configured for serious fishing. The Barracuda cockpit includes five rod holders, a 20-gallon livewell with seawater circulation, a 20-gallon macerated fish box with drainage, a foldable aft bench to open the deck, tackle drawer, and four rocket launchers on the T-Top with radial outriggers. Twin Garmin GPSMAP 1523 displays and a Garmin GT15M-IH transducer drive the electronics suite, supported by Garmin Signal 400 VHF radio.

Comfort and convenience run throughout. The bow and helm seats feature Arctic upholstery, with a bow sun awning on carbon fiber poles. An 80-liter freshwater tank feeds a transom shower and cabin taps. The boat includes a mooring kit with lines and fenders, two transom RGB underwater lights, a wireless phone charger at the helm, and courtesy LED lighting. An electric windlass with remote, stainless steel bow roller, and 7.5 kg anchor with chain and rope complete the anchoring system.

The design emphasizes accessible safety and weather protection: a closed transom, high bulwarks, oversized handrails, a dive door with removable ladder, and a one-level walkaround deck. Audio comes from a Fusion Apollo head unit with amplifier, six JL Audio speakers, and a 10-inch subwoofer throughout the interior and T-Top.
