2027 Back Cove 372
About This Yacht
The Back Cove 372 is a redesigned 37-foot downeast cruiser that builds on more than a decade of owner feedback and modern boatbuilding advances. The original Back Cove 37, introduced in 2009, proved its design with over 200 hulls built before production molds were retired in 2020. The new 372 retains the classic character of its predecessor while incorporating refinements throughout the boat.
Notable updates include a reconfigured head with an expanded medicine cabinet, larger mirror, and redesigned shower, plus a new aft-facing cockpit seat to starboard with folding armrest and drink holder. A new port-side salon door paired with a bi-fold starboard window brings improved light and flow to the main cabin. The helm area features a redesigned pod with black windshield liner, new upholstered surfaces, and increased space for electronics. Fixed-glazed pilothouse windows replace sliding versions for better sightlines, and a center-opening windshield with opening appliances improves operation. An upgraded 24V DC electrical system reduces copper weight for a lighter boat and extended runtime for thrusters.
Power comes from a Cummins QSC 8.3 600-horsepower diesel engine, with a Volvo Penta D8 diesel alternative available. The boat rides on a fiberglass hull measuring 37 feet in length with a beam of 13.25 feet, proportioned for seaworthy downeast cruising.
