2027 Catamaran Dual Flyer 400

The Dual Flyer 400 is a 40-foot catamaran built with epoxy resin-infused core construction and carbon reinforcement in high-load areas. The hull features curved asymmetrical dagger boards with the option of fixed keels, and is powered by two 38 hp Yanmar inboard diesels with sail drives and folding propellers. The boat carries a full suite of Raymarine navigation equipment including a 9-inch chartplotter, autohelm, depth and speed instruments, and VHF radio with DSC.

The open deck saloon features a U-shaped seating unit with table, galley with induction stove, fridge freezer, and sink, plus drop-down windows and doors opening to the aft deck. Steering is positioned on the starboard side with full engine controls and instrument panel. The foredeck provides access to twin Super Tramp trampolines with seating cushions and an anchor windlass with storage. A separate hatch leads to forward storage with Lewmar access hatches.

The port hull houses an owner's suite with double bunk, electric head, vanity with Corian countertop, hot and cold shower, and a separate office with desk and storage. The starboard hull contains a guest cabin with double and single bunks, matching head and shower facilities, and abundant storage throughout both hulls with foam-core cabinetry and wood-veneered doors. Each hull features three portlights for natural light.

The boat includes comprehensive cruising systems: 400-liter fresh water and fuel tanks, a 31-liter hot water cylinder, multiple electric and manual bilge pumps with float switches, and four 180-watt solar panels. Rigging comprises a double-diamond anodized aluminum mast with stainless steel fittings, main sail of 60 square meters and jib of 31.6 square meters with full battens, plus a 86 square meter Code 0 sail. Navigation and entertainment systems include Raymarine instruments, VHF, compass, Fusion CD radio, and waterproof speakers.
