The Solaris 55 is a 55-foot sailing yacht built from fiberglass, powered by a single 110 hp Yammer diesel engine. Designed by Javier Soto Acebal with interior by Adi Design, the yacht combines five decades of Solaris heritage with modern construction techniques. The hull features pronounced chines and a wide transom for stability and hydrodynamic efficiency. Composite bulkheads are laminated to the hull and deck for structural integrity and safety.
The deck layout emphasizes function and elegance with a spacious cockpit fitted with two outboard steering stations and dual cockpit tables for safe central passage. Large side windows at the companionway flood the interior with natural light. The innovative lifting transom accommodates a tender stowage locker and converts into a generous swimming platform with integrated steps.
The interior follows a symmetrical layout across four cabins and four heads. The owner's cabin forward offers a choice of centerline island berth or wall-mounted bed, plus an ensuite with large shower. The saloon is bright and airy, with seating options including a large sofa or two armchairs. A port-side galley aft of the companionway is customizable to owner specifications. Each of the three aft cabins includes its own head with separate shower; the sail locker can optionally be converted into a crew cabin with integrated bath.
