The 50 Billfish combines sportfishing capability with convertible-level comfort in a 50-foot fiberglass hull powered by twin 1200-horsepower MAN diesel engines. Built on the proven platform established by Viking's Billfish series, this model expands on earlier iterations while maintaining the engineering, performance standards, and build quality the brand is known for.
The boat centers on a 170-square-foot cockpit featuring large fish boxes, tackle storage, drink box, and refrigerated compartments. Below, the salon follows a day-boat layout with a port-side lounge, starboard dinette with rod storage, and forward galley with space for multiple Sub-Zero refrigerator units. The flybridge helm uses a center-console walkaround design for tournament-grade visibility, with additional seating and storage areas topside.
Accommodations include two staterooms: a forward master with walkaround queen bed and ensuite head, and a port guest cabin with upper and lower berths. An open area amidships can be configured with bunks or as a rod-and-tackle center, with access to the port head doubling as day head. The fixed aft bulkhead design separates the cabin from the cockpit with a centerline door entry.
The 50 Billfish shares the same hull as other boats in Viking's 50 Series but features distinct mechanical layouts, engine placement, fuel tank configuration, and weight distribution tailored to its sportfishing purpose. The inset bridge maintains a sporty profile while preserving flybridge space.
