2027 Viking 50 Billfish
About This Yacht
The 2027 Viking 50 Billfish is a 50-foot sportfishing convertible built on a composite hull, powered by a single 1200 MHP MAN diesel engine. It carries forward the proven DNA of the Billfish series while expanding its scope with a significantly larger platform. The hull is shared across Viking's 50 Series lineup, but the 50 BF features its own distinct mechanical layout, engine placement, fuel tank configuration, and weight distribution tailored to its fishing mission.
The standout feature is the expansive 170-square-foot cockpit—comparable in fore-and-aft length to much larger boats in the lineup. It accommodates large fish boxes, tackle storage, drink cooler, freezer, and refrigerated compartments. The fixed aft bulkhead opens via a centerline door into a day boat-style salon with a port-side lounge, starboard-side raised dinette with rod storage beneath, and a split galley forward. The layout allows flexibility to install multiple Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer units with substantial cabinetry and counter space.
Accommodations include two staterooms plus a flexible open area that can be fitted with upper and lower bunks or configured as a rod-and-tackle center. The forward master features a walkaround queen bed with ensuite head. The port guest stateroom has upper and lower berths and shares access to a port head that doubles as the day head. The flybridge features an inset-style design with a center-console walkaround helm for maximum visibility, plus seating, a refrigerated drink box, and ample storage.
The boat comes ready for outfitting with industry-standard electronics, communication, and fishfinding systems, with provision for a custom tuna tower installation.
