2027 Wellcraft 28 Explorer

The 2027 Wellcraft 28 Explorer is a 28-foot center console built on a stepped hull designed for speed and seakeeping. The hull employs Wellcraft's W.I.S.E. Technology (Wellcraft Infujection Structure Engineering), which combines lighter weight with increased rigidity and strength. Developed in partnership with Navia, a specialist in stepped-hull design, this boat planes quickly, accelerates hard, and maintains a dry ride. The fiberglass construction runs on six gasoline outboards and is capable of exceeding 50 knots with responsive handling.

The open deck layout features a one-level walkaround design for unobstructed movement throughout the boat. The closed transom and high bulwarks provide security and weather protection, while oversized handrails and a dive door support safe boarding and water access. The design balances bold American styling with European refinement, marked by the boat's distinctive Z-line silhouette.

Safety and structural integrity define the build. The hull is NMMA certified and engineered to perform confidently in varied water conditions. The stepped-hull design delivers superior efficiency, allowing the boat to handle demanding offshore and coastal work with control and durability.
