2027 Windelo 50 Adventure

The Windelo 50 Adventure is a 50-foot catamaran designed for long-range cruising under sail and electric power. With a beam of 26 feet, the boat combines the fuller hull lines at the bow favored by designers Christophe Barreau and Frederic Neuman with a modest weight and powerful sail rig, enabling strong performance even when fully loaded. Daggerboards enhance upwind capability across open ocean passages.

Accommodation includes three cabins and two heads, providing comfortable space for extended voyages. The design prioritizes both the equipment and stores necessary for blue water sailing alongside the comfort needed for extended time at sea.

The yacht is powered by twin 20-kW electric motors from Bellemarine, providing full thrust immediately upon engagement with no warm-up period required. The electric propulsion system allows the boat to travel with zero emissions during powered passages, complementing its sail-first approach to ocean cruising.
